The design journey extended far beyond the walls of the home. We traveled with our clients to New York to source antiques and one-of-a-kind pieces, selecting furnishings and artwork that carried history, character, and a sense of discovery. These moments became an integral part of the design process, ensuring the home's collections felt authentic rather than acquired all at once.
Throughout the residence, custom artistry plays a central role. In the dining room, we collaborated with an artist to create a hand-painted mural that seamlessly extends across the mirrored wall, transforming the reflection into part of the artwork itself and creating an immersive backdrop for entertaining. Elsewhere, we commissioned a ceramic artist to create a bespoke bar cabinet, blurring the line between furniture and sculpture while celebrating the beauty of handmade craftsmanship.
Architectural interventions were equally important in shaping the home's identity. Mediterranean-inspired detailing, intricate stained glass, and carefully considered architectural elements were woven into the existing structure to create the feeling of a residence that has gracefully evolved over time. These details introduce texture, color, and a sense of permanence, allowing the architecture itself to participate in the home's narrative.
Every layer of the project was approached with intention, from custom millwork and artisan finishes to collected antiques and commissioned works of art. The result is a home that feels deeply personal—not because of any single statement piece, but because every element reflects the experiences, passions, and memories of the people who live there.
